Liturgical Ministries

Altar Servers - Prepare for the celebration of Mass, serve the priest during Mass and clean up after Mass.

Eucharistic Ministers - Assist the priest with the distribution of the Eucharist. Special training is provided for this ministry.

Readers - Proclaim the scripture readings designated for each Mass. They also read the announcements.

Ushers - Seat people for the celebration of Mass, collect the offertory, and are available in case of an emergency during the celebration of Mass.

Music Ministry - Our parish has three groups; the Alleluia Choir, the Resurrection Choir, and the Contemporary Ensemble. The Alleluia Choir sings at weekend and special masses October through May; rehearsals are held weekly. The Resurrection Choir sings at funeral and memorial masses throughout the year; rehearsals are held one hour before the service. The Contemporary Ensemble sings newer contemporary Christian music as well as traditional hymns with guitar and piano accompaniment from September through May at the 4PM Sunday Mass.

Wedding Coordinator – The mass and rehearsal associated with a wedding will be planned between the coordinator and the bride and groom after the marriage preparation has taken place with the Pastor.

Funeral Liturgist - Coordinates with the bereaved family the details associated with a funeral mass, memorial service, or committal service. You may also pre-arrange these services.

Health Ministry - The membership of this ministry consists of active and retired medical professionals who have volunteered to be present at weekend Masses in case of a medical emergency.
